WiFi, standing for wireless fidelity, is a technology that permits computers and other devices to link to a network without the use of wires.

WiFi is becoming ubiquitous in many homes and workplaces as a simple solution for connecting computers together and, in most cases, then to the internet through a broadband, dial-up or other connection.
