Internet Explorer is Microsoft's web browser and is one of the most popular tools that consumers use to access the internet. It is free, but unlike other browsers like Firefox, is not open source. With the latest version 7, Microsoft has addressed many issues that were deemed to be better in Firefox and its use is unlikely to decrease in the future.
