Multimedia messages are short pieces of plain text mixed with video, images or audio content sent between mobile phones. The technology that drives the process is called MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service).
In mobile marketing, multimedia messages are used in a similar fashion to emails, but are more engaging than text messages.
